Unfortunately, it seems they can’t be dissolved with medications. They can be broken into small pieces that pass without pain through various procedures or they can be passed regularly with the help of drinking lots and lots of water.

I don’t believe so. You usually ahve to pass them, unless they are significant in size, or you have many stones- in which case they can choose to operate (minor procedure)

The answer is yes and no. Not all stones are created equal. Medication works sometimes, medication for pain relief so you can pass them works sometimes, sometimes ultrasound is needed to break them up and sometimes they have to go in and do surgery.
