My cousin's boyfriend was a blockage in his kidney stones, which creates barriers. They put one of your kidney to drain, because I think 2 weeks. Then it was a test of how renal function. Urologist sent him a letter from her left kidney contributed 96% of the whole kidney function, while the left is only 4%. Urologist recommended the removal of the kidneys to avoid infection in his kidney up. My view is that the doctor, who mailed the letter, instead, that the first meeting with a doctor is very unprofessional. Has anyone been in this situation, and it was a different route? I suggested that he go see the nephrologist which specializes in the kidney. Does anyone think that this is a little extreme, or the standard procedures?

There may be something else that can be done, there may not be. But personally, I want a doctor who communicates with me a bit better than that…
