I had an 8 mm kidney stone removal surgery on Monday to basket search. Damage to my back really, really not bad. None of you know that the pain goes away? How long will it be for pain after removal of kidney stones? If the pain is gone now?

My husband had a kidney stone removal a couple of years ago. He said the pain with urination lasted about 2 weeks. He also took a medication to help but made his urine orange. He also had a stent placement done, so that might be why the increased pain. Hope this helps…thanks
